Cork hails “terrific” England

TwelfthMan have had their tent up and running throughout the day, with multiple activities on offer. In addition to this, they are hosting Q&A sessions at lunch and tea. Facing the questions today was ex England all rounder Dominic Cork, who praised England’s bowling attack lead by Stuart Broad.

The Aussie fans present, received some much deserved stick, after England made a record breaking morning cleaning Australia up for just 60 runs, all in the first session.

Electric England

A phenomenal start by England has left fans in superb spirit, and rightly so, with Australia crawling to 29-6. The two England fans i spoke to, said “we weren’t expecting this” and that “England have completely turned it around after Lords defeat, we’re both backing an England win from here on”. Just as i was speaking, Captain Clarke flashed at a wide one and snicked off straight to Cook in the Slips leaving the Aussies 32-7. Singing England fans in good voice as they eagerly cheer on the England bowlers as they continue to run in and attack the weak batsmen.
